About Joe Bailey

Joseph Bailey is a Professor of Communication in Abilene, Texas.  He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in Rhetoric and Public Affairs. Dr. Bailey’s professional interests include study in the areas of media, media influences, leadership, presidential rhetoric, World War I and collective memory. In his work, he has helped hundreds of students find their voice and cultivate their skills for public speaking. Dr. Bailey uses his expertise to highlight and identify the modern media diet and teaches how to align media diet to accomplish goals.

Joseph Bailey is an outdoor enthusiast, fitness instructor and has an uncanny ability to recall music trivia from the last 40 years of pop culture. He loves teaching, speaking, and connecting with people as they navigate early adulthood and beyond. He enjoys life in Texas with his wife Crista and their 4 amazing children.
